Guiding Principles

1. We hold to the core beliefs of historic Christianity and affirm the Nicene Creed as a summary of that faith.

2. We believe relationship and intimacy with God in spirit and in truth are above all else. John 4:23-24; 5:4-5 | James 4:8

3. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers the church with spiritual gifts as a manifestation of the Holy Spirit to edify the church, and the spiritual gifts are for today. 1 Corinthians 12:7

4. We believe that apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers equip the saints for the work of ministry for edifying the church. Ephesians 4:11-16

5. We believe every person is made to communicate with God. John 10:16-17, 27 | Revelation 3:20

6. We believe now is the time to earnestly seek and desire intimacy with God, to seek His heart and His vision, and to build kingdom solutions through transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 6:10 | Acts 2:17-21

1. God is love. God is good all of the time. Psalm 100:5 | Mark 10:18 | John 3:16 | 1 John 4:8, 16

2. Intimacy with God is foundational and fundamental. 2 Chronicles 7:14 | John 14:6; 15:4 | James 4:8

3. Prophecy must be carried out in love. Prophecy points to Jesus. 1 Corinthians 14:1 | Revelation 19:10

4. Power in community. There is growth, strength, diversity, and unity in community. 1 Corinthians 12:12-31

5. Culture of honor. Differences are respected. Diversity is valued. 1 Peter 2:17 | Revelation 7:9

6. The kingdom of God is at hand. God speaks today. Jeremiah 33:3 | Matthew 3:2; 4:17 | Mark 1:15 | Acts 2:32-33

7. As followers of Jesus, we walk in love and humility while seeking truth, embracing mystery, and allowing transformation by the renewing of our minds. Proverbs 3:5-6 | Romans 11:33; 12:2 | Ephesians 4:1-3; 5:2 | 1 Peter 5:5-6

1. We welcome Catholics and Protestants alike into our communities. 

2. Be honoring, kind, and courteous. Let's treat everyone with honor, respect, and kindness. Let's honor each other with humility and grace as we learn, process, and practice.

3. We host and foster safe community environments to learn and grow. Make sure everyone feels safe. 

4. Our eyes and focus are on unity aligned with our Core Values. We do not partner with division. This is not a place to provoke or cause division related to topics like politics or denomination. This world is full of division and we are called to walk in love just as Jesus did.

5. Being part of this community requires mutual trust. We foster and encourage authentic, expressive discussions which may be sensitive and private. What's shared in the community should stay in the community. 

6. Community members are expected to walk in our seven Characteristics of Prophecy.

1. The nature of prophecy is love. 1 Corinthians 13:2 | 1 Corinthians 14:1 | 1 John 4:12-16

2. Prophecy points to Jesus. Revelation 19:10

3. Prophecy is strengthening, encouraging, and comforting. 1 Corinthians 14:3

4. Prophecy builds up (edifies) the church. 1 Corinthians 14:4

5. Prophecy is to be tested. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22

6. Prophecy never contradicts scripture.

7. Prophecy is for all believers of Jesus. Acts 2:17-18
