Our story.
Seven Ministries was founded in December of 2021 under the inspiration of prophetic visions and operating models I received, paired with the generous, legacy-building heart of my husband, initiated by a divine ask to start a non-profit in one week. The mission of equipping those who earnestly desire intimacy with the Holy Spirit and the gift of prophecy fuels the passion of my heart. I have experienced time and time again the beauty of the Lord through the gift of prophecy in building up, encouraging, and consoling. We provide a safe space for those at any stage of earnestly desiring the gift of prophecy to be invited into a community space where prophecy is normal, and where there is context for deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gifts. — Denise Borg, Founder and Executive Director.
Seven Ministries is remote with global accessibility. Our Prophetic Communities (Global and Fort Wayne, Indiana) have met in person and through Zoom for over four years with attendees that have been connected through attending our teaching series offerings, or through joining a Prophetic Community through this website. The longest gathering occurence was in our Global Prophetic Community where we met on Zoom for three years once a month for two hours. Off and on, we have met in person regularly in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At the end of 2025, we were gathering several times a month. We have also offered a few free teaching series to equip in addition to directing attendees to other resources and great teachers of the spiritual gifts.
Currently.
We are taking a break.
As I write this on May 23, 2026, I am reflecting on the last four and ½ years of operations. Last Fall, we formed a Board of Directors. We prayed. We vision casted. I wrote a topic series for 2026. As this year started, it became clear that we needed to break and give some time to re-focus and align. Little did my husband and I know - we had no idea that we would now be on a journey of studying Catholicism.
This site is still up in hope that the content is helpful to those who are interested in the concepts, topics, and structures. My prayer is that the concept will take off. Maybe I’ll be back focused on it again in a new or different season, as the fire in my heart still burns wildly for Prophetic Community and to empower those the Lord leads to operate in and with the gift of prophecy.
What we are experiencing and learning in studying Catholicism is that every bit of what we are learning will continue to add to my heart’s passion and desires for the mission of Seven Ministries. From the start, Seven Ministries has been for both Catholics and Protestants. The journey we are on only strengthens the foundation, if the Lord leads for Seven Ministries to continue.
We are praying for reforming of a Board. We are praying for funding.
If we start up again, the ecumenical foundation will be built strong to carry the vision and experiences we have in Prophetic Community with Protestants and Catholics: where unity and diversity are valued, and where the church comes together and giftings and diversity compliment in unity.
We’ve experienced God’s hand move mightily in our community space. If the Lord desires, this text will be part of our history as we start a new chapter.
